Our History

A rich heritage of faith, service, and community transformation spanning decades.

"Remember the days of old; consider the generations long past. Ask your father and he will tell you, your elders, and they will explain to you."

- Deuteronomy 32:7

The Foundation

St Paul's ACK Kiambu was founded in 1952 by a group of devoted Anglican Christians who felt called to establish a place of worship in the growing town of Kiambu.

Under the leadership of Rev. William Thompson, a British missionary, and local leaders like Mzee Joseph Wanjiku, the church began as a small congregation meeting under a large mugumo tree. The name "St Paul's" was chosen to honor the apostle's missionary heart and his dedication to spreading the Gospel.

"Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain."

- Psalm 127:1

From Small Beginnings

What started as 12 families gathering for prayer has grown into a thriving community of over 500 members.
